About Me
Hello and welcome — I’m Abbie, the paint-splattered, cow-obsessed face behind Abbie Dracea Art!
Art has been a love of mine for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I spent countless hours in my grandad’s shed with paint on my hands and a huge grin on my face. He was a landscape artist and a big Bob Ross fan — he taught me how to blend, how to play with colour, and most importantly, how to paint with joy. Those are some of my favourite memories, just the two of us surrounded by turpentine, canvases, and laughter.
Like many people, life swept me up. I grew into adulthood, and between studying and working, my brushes ended up forgotten in a drawer. Then lockdown happened. When the world went quiet, I picked up my paints again… and I haven’t been able to put them down since.
Living in beautiful Oban in the Highlands of Scotland, inspiration is everywhere — especially in the form of our cheeky Highland cows. (I’m so obsessed that a friend even adopted one for me — best gift ever!)
I paint with personality, humour, and a bit of mischief, because if you knew me in real life… you’d expect nothing less. My Highland cows are fun, full of character, and a teensy bit dramatic — just like me.
So here we are — my Cheeky Highland Cow Collection. Every piece is painted with love, laughter, and a genuine passion for celebrating Scotland’s one-of-a-kind charm.
Thank you for being here and supporting my journey — it truly means the world. I hope my art brings you a smile, a giggle, or at the very least, makes you fall in love with Highland cows as much as I have.
With love,
Abbie
